The Skin Protect Complex™, which contains vitamin B3 (PP) and a combination of two sugars, physically and biologically recreates a healthy skin barrier and helps preserve the skin's water reserves to restore its well-being:
- Vitamin PP, by stimulating the synthesis of lipids, helps to restructure the skin barrier, which improves the flexibility of the skin and restores its comfort in a lasting way.
- The combination of sugars optimizes the water reserves of the skin and facilitates the flow of water through the layers of the skin by increasing the synthesis of aquaporins (water channels). This provides deep hydration for 24 hours*; to support this action, it stimulates the synthesis of hyaluronic acid, a highly hygroscopic molecule.
- The presence of glycerin and mineral fat substance in these treatments, by capturing water outside the body, helps to correct the lack of hydration of the skin.
